The bells are getting ready to ding, our little towns are already being adorned with evergreen and lights, and our hearts keenly await the magical moments of the holiday festivities of 2020–even if they look different this year!
Being fully home with my three girls since March, it’s been a wonderful time to learn more about one another as we’ve grown through this season–and a time to uplift neighbors, strangers, friends, and each other as family. So, for that reason, I chose my eldest daughter to accompany me on the Simple Life Pattern Company 2020 Blog Tour this year! I could tell, of all my girls, that it was her time to choose. Her turn to feel confident. And her moment to be the designer of her wardrobe! So without further ado…
Our SLPco Holiday Blog Tour creation for 2020, inspiration by 8.5-year-old Brielle:
My daughter, Brielle, and I scrolled through every SLPco pattern. It was so wonderful seeing how wide her eyes got and the idea of each style! Her very favorite was the Zoe dress, with long sleeves and (of course!) pockets. She chose a reindeer and pine tree cotton spandex print from sponsor Art Gallery Fabrics, showing me where she wanted each print on the dress.
We also used the “piggy” size of the free SLPco bow pattern to add a touch of her accent fabric to her hair.
The style has a gathered skirt or circle skirt option, and we chose the voluminous circle skirt.
It has a mighty twirl. 🎁🎀
Thank you for stopping by!
We wish you all the magic of the holidays and hope your inspiration strikes just when you or someone you love needs it most! ☃️❄️🎄
