Bitty Bee Fabrics currently has Round 13 open for pre-order, and I absolutely love every part of it — pineapples, lemons, confetti (in all different colors), sea life! I was thrilled to sew up three of the designs: solid pink confetti, striped pink confetti, and yellow lemons. My little girls have been begging to have a lemonade stand this summer, so lemons it was!
The verdict: They couldn’t be sweeter! Everything washed great, and the fabric has a durable structure, and it’s a great weight.
We decided to have a little fun with our picture time and made it into a smoothie party!
Since the confetti and lemons are so darling together, so I made myself a dress to match. Nothing overflows my mama-cup more than matching my littles!
I used the Constance Top/Tunic/Dress in dress length for me and tunic length for my little (she’s a shorty). These are both part of the Meaningfully Made collection where 100% of the proceeds are donated to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, and the patterns are only $4! These are two of my favorites that I go back to for my family constantly!
For my littlest’s dress, I used the Petite Stitchery Mistletoe dress skirt and the Sapphire layering top for the top; the two were very simple to mash, and I wanted to use a neckband for a quick+quite sew (the Mistletoe is typically lined with a lower back).
